93  | 齊主志慕節儉，故有是詔，太官元日上夀有銀酒鎗，齊主欲壞之，王晏等咸稱盛徳，衛尉蕭頴胄曰：「朝廷盛禮，莫若三元，此器舊物，不足為侈」。齊主不悅，後過曲宴，銀器滿席，頴胄曰：「陛下前欲壞酒鎗，恐宜移在此器」。齊主甚慚，齊主躬親細務，綱目繁宻，南康侍郎鍾嶸上書言：「古者明君揆才頒政，量能受職，三公坐而論道，九卿作而成務，天子唯恭己南面而已」。齊主不懌，謂大中大夫顧嵩曰：「鍾嶸何人，欲斷朕機務？」對曰：「嶸雖位末名卑，而所言或有可乘，其繁碎職事，各有司存。今人主總而親之，所謂代庖人宰而為大匠斵也」。齊主不顧而言。他長蕭穎胄，字雲長，高帝從祖弟子。鍾嶸，字仲偉，穎川社人。 |
