3  | 三月初七日，聞張邦昌僭位。徽廟曰：「邦昌若誓死節，則社稷增重。今尸君之位，猶且庶幾。但所繫至重，既立異姓，則吾事決矣。」因泣下沾襟。明日，臣下有進詩者，曰：「伊尹定歸商社稷，霍光終作漢臣鄰。」徽廟且讀且罵曰：「待其歸商興漢，則吾已在龍荒之北矣。不達事機，猶有如此者。」 |
| 4 | 先是三月二十九日，有語分路去。徽廟同二太子由河北路，淵聖同國相由河東路，約會於燕京。是日，淵聖欲肅王同行。肅王堅辭云：「去歲奉旨出使，不曾避免，久違膝下。」泣請甚確，始復免去。復以岐王從行，以肅王曾奉使虜中，人情稔熟，故要同去。次日，徽廟率淵聖、二后、諸王、妃嬪、帝姬、駙馬等望城拜城中，辭違宗廟。徽廟伏地，氣塞不能起，景王掖起之。六宮無長少俱哭，震泰煙門動。虜人說，此日日色昏慘，風聲如號，移時方止。是晚，報來日啟程。淵聖同皇后、太子來拜違，泣下別去，自別不知見。 |
