5  | 讳佗，姓赵氏，汉真定人。秦始皇三十三年已并天下，略定扬粤，以任嚣为南海尉，佗为龙川令，至二世时嚣死，以佗代嚣。秦灭，佗并有桂林象郡之地，自立为南越王。汉高祖既定天下，遣陆贾奉玺绶往，拜佗为南越王。汉高后五年，王自即皇帝位。发兵攻长沙，招抚瓯骆、闽粤，皆属焉。有地东西万馀里，御黄屋左纛。汉文帝立，复遣陆贾遗书问之。贾至，王惭，谢，请复为藩王，长供贡职。至汉武帝建元之年薨，谥曰武帝。在位十八年，孙胡立，是为文王。 |
