5  | 時珍曰︰蝶，蛾類也。大曰蝶，小曰蛾。其種甚繁，皆四翅有粉，好嗅花香，以須代鼻，其交以鼻，交則粉退。《古今注》謂橘蠹化蝶，《爾雅翼》謂烏足之葉化蝶，《埤雅》謂菜蔬化蝶，《酉陽雜俎》謂百合花化蝶，《北戶錄》謂樹葉化蝶如丹青，《野史》謂彩裙化蝶，皆各據其所見者而言爾。蓋不知蠹 諸蟲，至老俱各蛻而為蝶、為蛾，如蠶之必羽化也。朽衣物亦必生蟲而化。草木花葉之化者，乃氣化、風化也。 |
