先是萬燝杖死，黃尊素語漣曰：可以去矣。漣曰：「苟濟國死生以之」。卒不去。至是，廷推吏部尚書漣注籍不預，于廷等推喬允升、馮從吾、汪應蛟上之。中㫖謂此次㑹推，仍是趙南星私人，顯是于廷漣、光斗冇意徇私，更責漣怙惡不悛，注籍躱閃前者。勘陳九疇事俱屬漣等主張朋比不公著，並削籍，且追漣、光斗誥命。質實，喬允升，字吉甫，洛陽人。汪應蛟，字潛夫，婺源人。以徐兆魁為吏部侍郎，喬應甲為副都御吏，王紹徽為僉都御史。
