先是，廣西上思州賊黃鏐糾峝兵作亂，既就捕，繫潯州獄，鏐黨偽為軍門，檄取以歸，遂復叛，攻刼州縣，總督都御史張鼎討禽之，而廣東賊蔡猛三等又起聚新寧、恩平諸賊，僣名號，肆剽掠，衆至數萬。嵿合兵三萬餘人，分二哨進擊，破巢二百，禽斬一萬四千餘人，俘賊屬五千九百餘人，猛三等皆授首。尋程鄉賊梁八尺等與福建上杭賊相應，都指揮李皋等會福建官軍夾擊，俘斬五百餘人。歸善李文積聚奸宄，流刼鄉村，官吏討捕，久不克，嵿遣參政徐度勦之，俘斬千餘人，境內恐平。質實，上思州，唐置，宋屬邕州。遷隆寨，元屬思明路，明屬南寧府。新寧，明孝宗十一年始析新㑹縣置，屬廣州府。恩平，唐縣，宋廢。明成化二年，始析陽江及新興、新㑹三縣地復置，屬肇慶府，今皆因之。張嵿，字時俊，蕭山人。徐度，江隂縣人。夏四月，追尊興獻帝曰本生皇考恭穆獻皇帝，上興國太后尊號曰本生皇母章聖皇太后。
