6  | 司马楚之，字德秀，晋宣帝弟太常馗之八世孙。父荣期，司马德宗梁益二州刺史，为其参军杨承祖所杀。楚之时年十七，送父丧还丹阳。值刘裕诛夷司马戚属，叔父宣期、兄贞之并为所杀。楚之乃亡匿诸沙门中济江。自历阳西入义阳、竟陵蛮中。及从祖荆州刺史休之为裕所败，乃亡于汝颍之间。 |
