6  | 司馬楚之，字德秀，晉宣帝弟太常馗之八世孫。父榮期，司馬德宗梁益二州刺史，為其參軍楊承祖所殺。楚之時年十七，送父喪還丹陽。值劉裕誅夷司馬戚屬，叔父宣期、兄貞之並為所殺。楚之乃亡匿諸沙門中濟江。自歷陽西入義陽、竟陵蠻中。及從祖荊州刺史休之為裕所敗，乃亡於汝潁之間。 |
