| 100 | 陳洪綬，字章侯，號老蓮。甲申後，自稱悔遲諸暨人。工人物。年四歲，過婦翁家，見新堊壁，登案畫關壯繆像，長八九尺，婦翁見之驚升，遂扃其室以崇奉之。洪綬畫人物，軀幹偉岸，衣紋清圓細勁，兼有公麟子昂之妙。設色學吳生法。其力量氣局，超拔磊落，在仇唐之上，蓋三百年無此筆墨也。少時渡錢唐拓杭州府，學公麟七十二賢石刻閉戶臨摹，數摹而數變之。又嘗摹周景元美人圖，至再四猶不已。人指所摹者，謂之曰：「此已勝元本，猶嗛嗛何也？」曰：「此所以不及也。吾畫易見好，則能事猶未盡，周本至能，而若無能，此難能也」。洪綬嘗為諸生，崇禎間，召入為供奉，不拜。尋以兵罷，監國中待詔。南都破，為固山額真。所得固山慕其名，優遇之。後亡歸，卒於家。時順天崔子忠亦善人物，與洪綬齊名，號「南陳北崔」。子忠，字道母，府庠生甲申，走人土室而死己見害譜。老蓮子字字無名，號小蓮，亦以人物名於時。 |
