1  | 袁彖，字伟才，陈郡阳夏人也。祖洵，吴郡太守。父觊，武陵太守。彖少有风气，好属文及玄言。举秀才，历诸王府参军，不就。觊临终与兄顗书曰：「史公才识可嘉，足懋先基矣。」史公，彖之小字也。服未阕，顗在雍州起事见诛，宋明帝投顗尸江中，不听敛葬。彖与旧奴一人，微服潜行求尸，四十馀日乃得，密瘗石头后岗，身自负土。怀其文集，未尝离身。明帝崩后，乃改葬顗。从叔司徒粲、外舅征西将军蔡兴宗并器之。 |
