11  | 八月庚午，以樞宻使、同平章事王欽若為左僕射、平章事。先是，帝欲相欽若，王旦曰：「欽若遭逢陛下，恩禮已隆，且乞令在樞宻院兩府，任用亦均。臣見祖宗朝未嘗使南人當國，雖古稱立賢無方，然必賢士乃可，臣位居元宰，不敢阻抑人，此亦公議也」。帝遂止。及旦罷，卒相欽若，欽若嘗語人曰：「為王子明，故遲我十年作相」。 |
