俊，字待用，莆田人。成化戊戌進士，授刑部主事，厯員外下獄，謫姚州判官。復官南京刑部員外。擢雲南按察副使，進按察使，調湖廣，轉廣東右布政使。以僉都御史巡撫江西，改四川，陞右都御史、工部尚書，改刑部，加太子太保，諡貞肅。有《見素西征集》楊應寕云：見素詩宗子美，晚乃出入黃山谷，陳無巳間。初視之，若有隱澀語，久而咀嚼，悠然有餘味焉。致王元美云。林待用如太湖中頑石，非不具微， 無乃癡重。《詩話》中山狼小說乃東田馬中錫所作，今載其集中。世傳以訾獻吉者，數其負德涵也。攷之康李，未嘗隙未黃才伯有讀見素捄空同奏疏。詩云：「憐才不是雲莊老，愁殺山中獵後狼」。然則當日所訾乃負見素耳。
