22  | 宋綬，字公垂，趙州平棘人也。父臯，直集賢院。綬幼聰警，其外祖楊徽之器愛之，以徽之遺愛，授太常寺太祝。年方十五，召試中書，真宗竒其文，聽於祕閣讀書。久之，召試學士院，為集賢校理，與父臯同在館閣，世以為榮。入為右正言，建言：「比歲下赦令、釋逋負，稽期未報者六十八州軍，請諸路選人校之，限半月以聞」。於是脱械繫三千二百人，除逋負數百萬。擢知制誥，為翰林學士兼侍讀。明道二年，為參知政事。景祐四年，罷為尚書左丞、資政殿學士，留侍經筵。卒，諡宣獻。子敏求。 |
