18  | 何文淵，字巨川，廣昌人。永樂進士，授御史，歴按山東、四川。烏䝉奸民什伽私其土，知府祿昭妻懼誅，告昭謀逆。詔發軍討文淵，檄止所調軍而白其誣。宣徳五年，用顧佐薦，知溫州。居六年，以胡濙薦，擢刑部右侍郎。朝議征麓川，文淵疏諫。帝下其議，僉謂宜討。于是西南騷動，僅乃克之而失亡多。其冬乞歸。景帝即位，起吏部侍郎，尋進尚書，以銓選為御史所劾，致仕。所著有《東園集》。 |
