103  | 丁積，字彦誠，寧都人，成化進士，授新㑹知縣，至即師事邑人陳獻章，為政以風化為本。中貴，梁芳邑人也，其弟長橫於鄉，責民逋過，倍訴於積，追劵焚之，且收捕繫獄，由是權豪屏跡，申洪武禮制，叅以朱子家禮，擇耆老誨導百姓，良家子墮業聚廡下，使日誦小學書，親為解說，風俗大變，民出錢輸官供役，名均平錢。其後吏貪，復令甲首出錢供用，曰當月錢，貧者至鬻子女，積一切杜絶。俗信巫鬼為痛毁淫祠，旣而嵗大旱，築壇圭峰頂，昕夕伏壇下者八日，雨大澍積，遂以疾卒，士民聚哭於途，有一嫗夜哭極哀，或問之，曰：「來嵗當甲首，丁公死無以聊生矣」。 |
