38  | 歙縣監生吳養晦投稅監魯保言，大父守禮逋鹽課工十五萬，乞追入給占產。從之。左春坊左庶子葉向高請罷礦使。不報。大學士趙志臯病篤，特疏請停礦稅。不報。 |

| 31 | 三十五年五月，以禮部左侍郎李廷機、南京禮部右侍郎葉向高為禮部尚書兼東閣大學士，直文淵閣。又諭朱賡召舊輔王錫爵。時顧憲成移書向高言：「近日輔相，以模稜為工，賢否圂淆。」引張禹、胡廣為戒。廷機故出沈一貫門，人多疑之。給事中王元翰、胡忻、曹于汴、宋一韓，御史陳宗契等，交章劾廷機。廷機故清介，而攻之者詆為輦金奧援，御史葉永盛極辨之。廷機伏闕辭，不允。上下旨切責元瀚等。 |
