77  | 癸未，自成攻郟縣，知縣李貞率士民堅守一晝夜，殺傷甚眾。賊百道環攻，一鼓而拔，縱兵大殺。李貞大聲叱賊曰：「驅百姓死守者知縣耳，妄殺何為！」罵賊不已。自成怒，褫其衣，倒懸於樹，貞大呼曰：「高皇帝有靈，我必訴之上帝以殺賊！」賊斷其舌，剮之。母喬氏及妻俱死。 |
