16  | 时王弘上疏曰：「主守偷五疋，常偷四十疋，并死，太重。请加主守至十疋，常偷至五十疋。」刘秀之为尚书右仆射，请改定制令，疑部人杀长吏科，议者谓值赦宜加徙送，秀之谓：「律文虽不明部人杀官长之旨，若值赦但止徙送，便与悠悠杀人曾无一异。人敬官长，比之父母，行害之身虽遇赦，谓宜付尚方，穷其天命，家口令补兵。」从之。 |
