| 57 | 九月，西陵督步闡上表，請徙都武昌，後主納之。鎮西將軍陸凱見揚土百姓泝流供給為患，又時政多謬，黎元窮匱，乃進表諫帝，言：「武昌土地，危險磽埆，非王都安國養民。故先帝嫌之，遷都於此，且黃龍初有謠云：『寧歸建業死，不就武昌居。』今陛下動，不遵先王之法，而複苦原闕 |
| 122 | 是月，西陵督步闡反，降晉。 |
| 123 | 步闡字仲思，丞相騭次子。以功封西陵亭侯，繼業督西陵。至是，後主征入為繞帳督。闡以累世在西陵，卒見徵命，自以為失職，懼讒，乃不應召，據城降晉，使兄子璇往洛陽為質。後主遣大將軍陸抗討擒之，夷三族。 |
| 133 | 後屢以征伐，功拜領軍大將軍、益州牧，尋遷西陵、樂鄉、公安等諸軍事。因陳時宜於後主一十七條，而切言何定弄權，閹宦專政之事。鳳皇初，步闡以西陵降晉，抗率諸將大破晉軍而梟闡首。修理城圍，東還樂鄉，貌無矜色，故得將士歡心。 |
