21  | 曹端，字正夫，澠池人。永樂六年舉人。為霍州學正。修明聖學諸生，服從其教，郡人皆化之，恥爭訟。監司大吏必造謁，知府郭晟問為政，端曰：「其公亷乎？公則民不敢慢亷，則吏不敢欺」。晟拜受教，艱歸澠、池、霍州諸生多就墓次受學。服闋，改蒲州學正。霍、蒲兩州各上章爭之，霍奏先得請，先後在霍十六載，宣徳九年，卒官，年五十九。諸生服心喪三年，霍人罷市巷哭，童子皆流涕，貧不能歸𦵏，遂留𦵏。霍二子瑜、琛，亦廬端墓相繼卒，𦵏墓側，後改𦵏澠池。端為明理學之冠，學者稱月川先生。 |
