| 10 | 顾奎，字应文，丹徒人。㓜徙金坛，好学笃行，后进师尊之心地坦夷，不立城府，而著《太一兵机》一书，凡二十篇。以天道叅人事，极其机变。自㓜淳澹，不蓄妻子，行年六十，犹有婴儿之色。而所著歌词，清新绮丽，散入管弦。遇人无少长貌，必恭气必和，而达官贵人，一语不合，輙拂袖去。绍兴中，故人有位，枢近者，念其贫，㑹戚方统军京口，以奎托之，戚甫至，即遣人迎致，辞不往戚，不得已，自往谒之谢，不见戚虑，孤枢近之托，则馈以尊酒缗钱各百，曰以代䞇币，奎对使者曰：「归语而主吾家，金坛以汝比贼，故里之老㓜肝脑涂地，吾书生，恨不食汝肉，安能受汝遗乎？」使者惧，不敢聴，亟负酒币归，三举礼部，一入太学，俱不第。乾道中，以特恩对大廷，授迪功郎、县尉，未上，淳熙初年，卒。 |
