86  | 王次翁，字庆曽，其先大名人，曽祖异甲科，为嘉岐王府翊善，因家于济南。次翁崇宁进士，通《诗》、《书》、《易》、《春秋》，齐、鲁诸生多从之游，号「两河先生」，为辟廱。正有以次翁所为文荐于梁师成，次翁诡取文以归，师成憾之。后知道州，徙容州。绍兴初，吕颐浩辟为湖南参谋官，作《太𤣥九九图》布算。𡨕思潘良贵访之，闻其筹声，视之，乃太𤣥数也。未老，即致仕。旧与秦桧善，起家骤拜御史中丞、参知政事。桧倡和议，次翁力赞之。初，韦太后自北归，既次燕山，金使惮暑行，太后疑有变，亟贷北副使金三百星，约入境，倍以偿。次翁时为参政，与后弟韦渊迓境上，北使先欲得金，次翁以非桧所拟执，不肯授，相持界上。王㬇时为江东转运使，急裒金以酬后，归与上言，上怒，将罪之，㑹择报谢使，桧荐次翁以行得缓，既归，即致事。居四明，子伯庠，登绍兴二年进士，试教官为第一，后擢殿中侍御史，出为䕫路安抚伯庠博记，敏絶䕫，部地旷逺，伯庠手图其险要，夷人不能欺。巴俗掠子女出境，特严其禁。所为文有《歴山集》、《云安集》、《宏词集》、《要䕫路图经》。伯序亦登进士第，官宗正丞。 |
