十四年，簡王崩，子靈王泄心立。靈王二十四年，齊崔杼弒其君莊公。

二十七年，靈王崩，集解皇覽曰：「靈王冢在河南城西南柏亭西周山上。蓋以靈王生而有髭，而神，故謚靈王。其冢，民祀之不絕。」子景王貴立。索隱名貴。按國語景王二十一年鑄大錢及無射，單穆公及泠州鳩各設辭以諫。今此不言，亦其疏略耳。景王十八年，后太子聖而早卒。二十年，景王愛子朝，集解賈逵曰：「景王之長庶子。」欲立之，正義左傳云：「子朝用成周之寶珪沈於河，津人得諸河上。」杜預云：「禱河求福也，珪自出水也。」按：河神不敢受故。會崩，集解皇覽曰：「景王冢在洛陽太倉中。秦封呂不韋洛陽十萬戶，故大其城并圍景王冢也。」子丐之黨與爭立，國人立長子猛為王，子朝攻殺猛。猛為悼王。晉人攻子朝而立丐，是為敬王。集解賈逵曰：「敬王，猛母弟。」
