63  | 沉邈，字子山，信州弋陽人。進士及第，起家補大理評事、知侯官縣，通判廣州，累遷都官員外郎，歷知真州、福州。慶歷初，為侍御史。時呂夷簡罷相，輔臣皆進官，邈言：「爵祿所以勸臣下，非功而授則為濫。今邊鄙屢警，未聞廟堂之謀有以折外侮，無名進秩，臣下何勸焉。」又論：「夏竦除樞密使，而竦陰交內侍劉從願。使從願內濟狡譎，竦外專機務，奸黨得計，人主之權去矣。」其言甚切。權鹽鐵判官，轉兵部員外郎。時選諸路轉運加按察使，邈與張溫之、王素首被選。邈加直史館，使京東。歲餘，入為侍御史知雜事。未幾，擢天章閣待制、知澶州，徙河北都轉運使，又徙陜西，歲中，加刑部郎中、知延州，卒。 |
