20  | 宗保生二岁，母抱以入见章献后，后留与处。宗保七岁，授左侍禁，帝亲为巾其首。久之，归本宫，诏朔望出入禁省。累官代州防御使，袭封燕国公。性仁恕，主藏吏盗米至千斛，贳不问。尝书「忍」字于座右以为戒。熙宁七年卒。神宗临奠，其子仲鞠泣曰：「先臣幼养宫中，终身不自言。」帝感悼，遂优赠静难军节度使、新平郡王，谥恭静。仲鞠亦好学能诗，事亲居丧以孝闻。 |
