20  | 宗保生二歲，母抱以入見章獻後，後留與處。宗保七歲，授左侍禁，帝親為巾其首。久之，歸本宮，詔朔望出入禁省。累官代州防禦使，襲封燕國公。性仁恕，主藏吏盜米至千斛，貰不問。嘗書「忍」字於座右以為戒。熙寧七年卒。神宗臨奠，其子仲鞠泣曰：「先臣幼養宮中，終身不自言。」帝感悼，遂優贈靜難軍節度使、新平郡王，謚恭靜。仲鞠亦好學能詩，事親居喪以孝聞。 |
