十一月癸巳，詔按問強盜，欲舉自首者毋減。丁酉，祧翼祖，祔神宗於太廟，廟樂曰《大明之舞》。辛丑，減兩京、河陽囚罪一等，杖已下釋之，民緣山陵役者蠲其賦。己酉，遼遣使賀即位。十二月壬戌，于闐進獅子，詔卻之。開經筵，講《魯論》，讀《三朝寶訓》。罷《太學保任同罪法》。丙寅，夏人以其母遺留物、馬、白駝來獻。辛未，左僕射蔡確、右僕射韓縝並遷秩、加食邑，揚王顥、荊王頵並為太傅。壬申，章惇、司馬光等進秩有差。申戌，罷後苑西作院。乙亥，詔執政、侍臣講讀。戊寅，罷增置鑄錢監十有四。乙酉，遼遣蕭睦等來賀正旦。是歲，日有五色雲者六。高麗、大食入貢。
