236  | 韓琬，字茂貞，南陽人，思彥子。中宗朝，舉文藝，優長賢良方正科，拜監察御史。上言：「國之安危，在於政政。以法暫安焉，必危以德」。始不便焉。終治書，入不報。出監河北軍，兼按察使。先天中，賦絹非時，於是榖賤，縑益貴，人多徙亡。琬曰：「御史乃耳，日官知而不言，尚何賴？」又言：「須報則弊已甚，移檄罷督乃聞」。詔可。官至殿中侍御史。 |
