188  | 韓歆，字翁君，南陽人。從光武征伐有功，封扶陽侯。好直言無隠，嘗論歲饑，言甚剛切，坐是免歸田里。張堪字君游，宛人。少受業長安志，美行勵諸儒，號曰聖童。光武時，拜為郎中。從大司馬吳漢伐公孫述，在道追拜蜀郡太守。時漢軍餘七日糧欲退，堪往見漢，策述必敗。漢從其策，遂拔成都。堪先入據其城，慰撫吏民，蜀人大恱。二年，徴拜漁陽太守，捕擊奸猾，賞罰必信，吏民皆樂為用。乃於狐奴開稻田八千餘頃，勸民耕種，以致殷富。百姓歌曰：「桑無附枝，麥穗兩岐。張君為政，樂不可支」。視事八年，邊人不敢犯塞。蜀郡計掾樊顯稱其仁以惠下，威能討姦。前破述時，珍寶山積，捲握之物，足富十世。而堪去職之日，乘折轅車，布被囊而已。帝聞，下詔褒揚，賜帛百匹。 |
