26  | 廷瑑，字桓臣。雍正元年進士，自編修累官工部侍郎，充日講官。起居注初無條例，廷瑑編載詳贍得體。既擢侍郎，兼職如故。終清世，已出翰林而仍職記注者惟廷瑑。乾隆九年，改補內閣學士，兼禮部侍郎。典試江西，移疾歸。廷瑑性誠篤，細微必慎。既歸，刻苦礪行，耿介不妄取。三十九年，卒，年八十四。上聞，顧左右曰：「張廷瑑兄弟皆舊臣賢者，今盡矣！安可得也？」因嘆息久之。 |
