| 43 | 李長祥，字研齋，達州人。崇禎癸未進士。初以諸生練鄉勇助城守，後選庶吉士，吏部薦備將帥之選。或曰：「天子果用公，計安出？」嘆曰：「不見孫白穀往事乎？今惟有請便宜行事，雖有金牌，亦不受進止。平賊後，囚首闕下受斧鉞耳！」聞者咋舌。賊日逼，上疏請急令大臣輔太子出鎮津門，以提調勤王兵。不果行，而京師潰，為賊所掠，乘間南奔。 |
