十二月壬子，以姚文然為左都御史。吳三桂反，殺雲南巡撫朱國治，貴州提督李本深、巡撫曹申吉俱降賊，總督甘文焜死之。丙辰，反問至，命前鋒統領碩岱率禁旅守荊州。丁巳，召梁清標、陳一炳還，停撤二藩。命加孫延齡撫蠻將軍，線國安為都統，鎮廣西。命西安將軍瓦爾喀進守四川。京師民楊起隆偽稱朱三太子，圖起事。事發覺，起隆逸去。捕誅其黨。詔奸民作亂已平，勿株連，民勿驚避。己未，命順承郡王勒爾錦為寧南靖寇大將軍，討吳三桂。執三桂子額駙吳應熊下之獄。庚申，命副都統馬哈達帥師駐兗州，擴爾坤駐太原，備調遣。辛酉，命直省巡撫仍管軍務。壬戌，詔削吳三桂爵，宣示中外。命都統赫業為安西將軍，會瓦爾喀守漢中。以倭內為奉天將軍。吳三桂陷辰州。甲子，祫祭太廟。
