| 29 | 李右文，字伯蘭，順天通州人。道光十一年舉人。咸豐三年，選授湖南東安知縣。粵匪犯天津，留辦本籍團練，以功賞知州銜。五年，赴官，值湘南道梗，諸弟馳書尼其行，不聽。至楚，權新寧。邑屢被寇，戶口流亡，右文招集撫循，凋敝以振。七年，以最調祁陽，時從弟載文殉難廣西，弟復馳書勸歸，慨然曰：「死生命也，脫捐頂踵報國，是得死所也，何慮為！」尋回東安任。八年，湖南境賊退，右文謂眾曰：「賊敗他竄，不可恃。」亟訓練民團，置倉穀數千石，備不虞。 |
