鍾懷、李鍾泗皆有名，均甘泉人。鍾懷，字保岐。優貢生。與阮元、焦循相善。共為經學，旦夕討論，務求其是。居恆禮法自守，不與世爭名，交游中稱為君子。嘉慶十年，卒，年四十五。著有■M2厓考古錄四卷。其漢儒考，較陸德明所載增多十餘人。
