冬十月戊辰朔，允杨岳斌回籍省亲，并募勇赴甘。命刑部尚书绵森、户部侍郎吴廷栋往治察哈尔狱。己巳，改乌鲁木齐提督文祥名为文祺。辛未，褫将军常清职，命明绪代之，以联捷为参赞大臣。命武隆阿统援救乌鲁木齐各军，节制领队大臣以下。壬申，鲍超军击贼大捷，赏双眼花翎。席宝田军获贼酋洪仁玕等。皖南北肃清。乙亥，回匪陷乌鲁木齐满城及绥来，都统平瑞等死之。哈密汉、回乱。命保恒署乌鲁木齐都统，李鸿章署两江总督，吴棠署江苏巡抚，富明阿署漕运总督。戊寅，获洪福瑱于石城，诛之。赏枕葆桢一等轻车都尉。封鲍超一等子。论恢复全浙功，封左宗棠一等伯，赏蒋益澧骑都尉。粤匪陷瑞金，旋复之。庚辰，粤匪陷漳州、龙岩、南靖、武平，按察使张运兰等死之。刘蓉分军守邠州等处。乙酉，明谊与俄使换分界约，科布多城卡外蒙古，阿尔泰淖尔乌梁海均属俄。给鲍超假，所部宋国永等军援闽，归左宗棠节制。丁亥，雷正绾军克莲花城，赏曹克忠黄马褂。僧格林沁剿贼大捷，赏郭宝昌等黄马褂，贼首马融和以众降。己丑，四川援军复仁怀。庚寅，粤匪陷平和。辛卯，陷嘉应、大埔。丙寅，谕曾国藩仍驻金陵，李鸿章等回本任。是月，免河南信阳等处被扰额赋，浙江西安等县逋赋。
