黃貞麟，字振侯，山東即墨人。順治十二年進士。十八年，授安徽鳳陽推官，嚴懲訟師，閤郡懍然。大旱，禱雨未應，貞麟曰：「得無有沈冤未雪，上干天和乎？」於禱雨壇下，立判諸大獄，三日果雨。江南逋賦案興，蒙城、懷遠、天長、盱眙各逮紳民百餘人繫獄候勘。獄不能容，人皆立，貞麟曰：「彼逋賦皆未驗實，忍令殭死於獄乎？」悉還其家。及訊，則或舞文吏妄為注名，或誤報，或續完，悉原而釋之，保全者五百家。
