| 82 | 雲茂琦，廣東文昌人。道光六年進士，授江蘇沛縣知縣。詢民疾苦，懇懇如家人。勸以務本分、忍忿爭，訟頓稀。縣地卑，多積潦，開濬溝洫，歲獲屢豐。籌緝捕經費，獲盜多，給重賞，盜賊屏跡。課諸生，先德行，後文藝，語以身心性命之學。鄰邑聞風而來，書院齋舍至不能容。總督蔣攸銛稱其有儒者氣象。調六合，連年大水，災民得賑，無流亡。邑多淫祀，毀其像，改書院。衛田多典質，為清理復業，運戶得所津貼，漕累以紓。考最，入覲，改官兵部郎中，又改吏部。未幾，告養歸。家居十數年，置田贍族，鄉邑興革，無不盡力。主講課士有法。 |
