63  | 繼遷疊次進獻，太宗遣張崇貴賜以器幣、茶藥、衣服，持詔諭之云：「既除手足之親，已失輔車之勢。」繼遷見之惶懼，復遣張浦、李光祚以良馬、橐駝入貢，太宗令衛士翹關、超乘、引強、奪槊于後園，俾浦等觀之。初，李廷信還，賜勁弓三，皆力及一石六斗，繼遷意上欲威示戎裔，非有人能挽也。至是，浦見士皆拓兩石弓，有餘力，大駭。太宗笑曰：「羌人敢敵否？」浦曰：「羌部弓弱矢短，但見此長大，人已遁矣，況敢敵乎？」太宗謂曰：「戎人貧窶，飲食衣被粗惡，無可戀者，繼遷何不束身自歸，永保富貴？」浦頓首謝。太宗以浦為繼遷謀主，授銀青光祿大夫、檢校工部尚書、鄭州刺史兼御史大夫，充本州團練使，留之京師。 |
