餘祭十二年，楚靈王會諸侯伐吳，圍朱方，誅慶封。慶封數為吳伺祭，故晉楚伐之也。吳王餘祭怒曰：「慶封窮來奔吳，封之朱方，以效不恨士也。」即舉兵伐楚，取二邑而去。
