馀祭十二年，楚灵王会诸侯伐吴，围朱方，诛庆封。庆封数为吴伺祭，故晋楚伐之也。吴王馀祭怒曰：“庆封穷来奔吴，封之朱方，以效不恨士也。”即举兵伐楚，取二邑而去。
