王孫濡謂郁離子曰：「子知荊巫之鬼乎？荊人尚鬼而崇祠，巫與鬼爭神，則隱而臣其偶。鬼弗知其誰為之也，乃躠於其鄉。鄉之老往祠，見其偶之臥，醮而起焉。鬼見，以為是臥我者也，歐之踣而死。今天下之臥，弗可起矣，而不避焉，無益，只取尤耳！」
