瑞王朱常浩（1590年 - 1644年），明神宗第五子、母周端妃。常浩笃信佛教、不近女色，仅贪财，很不得神宗的欢心，因此二十五岁还尚未结婚。群臣们都上奏章请明神宗完成常浩的婚事，但明神宗都不理睬，常浩每天都向户部要结婚的费用，拿了十八万两白银藏在宫中，还说这点钱买冠服都不够。
1627年到了封国汉中，除了上缴朝廷的税外，再加课盐税等各种名目的税，加重人民的负担。
1637年王斌在汉中发动农民起事，朱常浩为逃避大顺军的追捕，由陕西佥事陈纁护送，南逃四川避难，受到总兵侯良柱援助到重庆。1644年张献忠攻破重庆，走投无路的朱常浩及随行人员被俘。张献忠先斩四川巡抚陈士奇，欲斩朱常浩时，天无云却雷电大作三次，献忠照样斩了朱常浩及家属与幕府官员与地方官吏等。然后，再砍断了被俘明军与居民三万多人的手臂。瑞王遇害无血渍，有气一道直冲云端，瑞王端坐其中，冉冉而上，人皆以为是异相。
