1 蔡倫:
蔡倫，字敬仲，為中常侍，有才學，盡忠重慎，每至休沐，輒閉門絕賓客，曝體田野。

2 蔡倫:
黃門蔡倫，字敬仲，典作上方，造意用樹皮及敝布、魚網作紙，奏上，帝善其能，自是莫不用，天下咸稱蔡侯紙也。

3 蔡倫:
倫典上方，作紙，用故麻造者謂之麻紙，用木皮名榖紙，用故魚網名網紙。
