| | Ma Leng, courtesy name Bowei, served as Taihou of Guangling. There were often locusts in the area within the borders of the commandery that damaged crops and caused grain prices to rise. Leng had authority and virtue; he petitioned the court to abolish salt officials, provided relief for the poor and weak, and reduced taxes. The locusts flew into the sea and were transformed into fish and shrimp. He revived dikes and lakes, increasing annual grain revenue by more than ten thousand hu.

| | Ma Leng served as Taihou of Kuaiji. An imperial edict questioned why the carts and oxen in Kuaiji were not made sturdy, since all the carts used thin bamboo mats on peach branches.
