| | Suo Fu was a native of Pingyuan and served as a minor official at the county office. When the county magistrate Liu Xiong was attacked by bandits, Suo Fu intended to stab Xiong with a spear. Fu rushed forward and kowtowed, offering his own body in place of Xiong's. The bandits then pierced Fu through the heart with a halberd and stabbed him in the back, killing him immediately. The governor of Dongjun captured the bandits and submitted a detailed report on the incident to the throne; an imperial edict expressed grief over the matter.
