| | In the twenty-first year [of his reign], spring, the first month of the king's calendar, the Gong went to Jin. Shuqi of Zhu came fleeing with Qilvqiu. The "yi" here refers to those who did not come with it. Those who came fleeing are not mentioned as having left, because the focus is on those who welcomed me. Qilvqiu was not mentioned, because it was a minor place compared to major ones.
