| | In spring of the tenth year, the Duke went to Qi. The Duke returned from Qi. The people of Qi returned the western fields of Ji to us. The Duke married a woman from Qi, and thus Qi regarded him as their brother; this was reversed. It does not say "came," because the Duke went to Qi to receive her.

| | In summer, on the Bingchen day of the fourth month (May 15, 483 BC), there was a solar eclipse. On the Jisi day (June 27, 483 BC) Duke Yuan of Qi died. The Cui family of Qi fled to Wei. "Shi" here indicates that the entire clan left. The Duke went to Qi.

| | In autumn, the Son of Heaven sent Wang Jizi to pay a visit. The title "Wang Ji" indicates that he was a son of the king. The use of "zi" signifies respect for him. A "pin" mission is a visit to inquire after someone's well-being. Gongsun Guifu led the army to attack Zhu and captured Yi. There was a great flood. Jisun Xingfu went to Qi.
