唐咸通中，岳州人有村人，涸湖池取魚，獲龜猶倍多。悉刳其肉，載龜板至江陵鬻之，厚得金帛。後歸家，忽遍身患瘡，楚痛號叫，鄰里不忍聞。須得大盆貯水，舉體投水中，漸變作龜形。逾年，肉爛腐墜而死。出《報應記》
