6 | 今陛下致昆山之玉,正义昆冈在于阗国东北四百里,其冈出玉。有随、和之宝,正义括地志云:「濆山一名昆山,一名断蛇丘,在随州随县北二十五里。说苑云『昔随侯行遇大蛇中断,疑其灵,使人以药封之,蛇乃能去,因号其处为断蛇丘。岁馀,蛇衔明珠,径寸,绝白而有光,因号随珠』。」卞和璧,始皇以为传国玺也。垂明月之珠,服太阿之劔,集解见苏秦传。乘纤离之马,集解徐广曰:「纤离,蒲梢,皆骏马名。」索隐徐氏据孙卿子而为说。建翠凤之旗,树灵鼍之鼓。集解郑玄注月令云:「鼍皮可以冒鼓。」此数宝者,秦不生一焉,而陛下说之,何也?必秦国之所生然后可,则是夜光之璧不饰朝廷,犀象之器不为玩好,郑、衞之女不充后宫,而骏良駃騠不实外廐,索隐駃音决,騠音提。周书曰「正北以駃騠为献」。广雅曰「马属也」。郭景纯注上林赋云「生三日而超其母也」。江南金锡不为用,西蜀丹青不为采。所以饰后宫充下陈索隐下陈犹后列也。晏子曰「有二女,愿得入身于下陈」是也。娱心意说耳目者,必出于秦然后可,则是宛珠之簪,傅玑之珥,索隐宛音于阮反。傅音附。宛谓以珠宛转而装其簪。傅玑者,以玑傅著于珥。珥者,瑱也。玑是珠之不圆者。或云宛珠,随珠也。随在汉水之南,宛亦近汉,故云宛。傅玑者,女饰也,言女傅之珥,以玑为之,并非秦所有物也。阿缟之衣,锦绣之饰集解徐广曰:「齐之东阿县,缯帛所出。」不进于前,而随俗雅化集解徐广曰:「随俗,一作『修使』。」索隐谓闲雅变化而能通俗也。佳冶窈窕赵女不立于侧也。夫击瓮叩缻弹筝搏髀,索隐说文云:「瓮,汲瓶也。于贡反。缶,瓦器也;秦人鼓之以节乐。」缻音甫有反。而歌呼呜呜快耳目者,真秦之声也;郑、衞、桑间、昭、虞、武、象者,索隐昭作韶。异国之乐也。今弃击瓮叩缻而就郑衞,退弹筝而取昭虞,若是者何也?快意当前,适观而已矣。今取人则不然。不问可否,不论曲直,非秦者去,为客者逐。然则是所重者在乎色乐珠玉,而所轻者在乎人民也。此非所以跨海内制诸侯之术也。 |
