2  | 和尚初来时，仅铁杖一，革囊一，既至，即圬其墁，除其荆棘，辟菴后地数亩自种植之。时年五十馀，而精神奕奕，殆如二十许。平时不茹素，不念经，亦不诣檀越求布施，然香积厨中，未尝匮乏。性又嗜酒，一引数十觥，酒酣耳热，则解衣磅礴，舞铁杖以为戏，盘旋上下，观者目为之眩。 |
